| preferable both, but... what if the tunnel gets blocked off? over the bump will at least always offer us the option... not to mention that, what if we cant get over the bump, but deprerately need to score a point in the last 30 seconds of the game? will we have the time to go thru the tunnel, when we could just go directly there via the bump? | |

| driving over the bump and getting the bot in the tunnel. The tunnel is smaller the the largest width of the bot. if you havea dimension of 28 x 38, the drive system would have to be th narrower dimension for that to work. If it had a hinged chassis then the tunnel may have more underpinning issues.... allgood thoughts | |

| I think we should go over the bump because, as okami and my dad mentioned, the tunnel can get jammed. | |

| ya but that's just a worst case scenario think of the pros we'll worry about the cons once we've listed the pros. Someone has an idea for both the tunnel and bump... I can't wait to see it XD | |

| There will be pros and cons to every design... it is up to us as to figure out what will be the best philosophy to follow | |

| If that jointed wheel and/or tread design works out, we would possibly need to go over the bump; but this would be easy. We'd have to make a fairly narrow bot to get in the tunnel, after all... | |

| We should go through the tunnel. The fact remains if we gt stuck or flip we are rendered totally useless if we have no way tp righ ourselves | |

| inversable design. if we are flipped it wont matter.... as for getting stuck... six wheels fixes that ^^ | |

| Yeah; it would be like the Mars Rover in that aspect. This way, they could better hug the bump while still being able to get over it. The transition over would be smooth and simple rather than rough and rather blocky. | |

| agrreed. and, with big, 17" wheels, so its inversable... ^^ plus, we can get on top of the tunnel for the bonus points =] | |
